Today I'll show you how to manage List Item permissions in workflows developed in Sharepoint Designer 2013.
If you try to do this, you'll not find that in standard actions. A little bit frustrating, isn't it? But don't be disappointed!
It may be possible in older 2010 workflows. So let's take a look.
Create a 2010 workflow:
Permission actions are not available yet:
Add an impersonation step (otherwise, permission actions will not available):
Add permission actions in that impersonation step:
For example, I have added "remove permissions" action for all users of Edit and Contribute types:
All right. Legacy 2010 workflow is ready. Now we need to run this workflow in our 2013 workflow with no parameters
to current List Item:
